The Ringers of Egloshayle

Scores of reel-to-reel tape recordings belonging to Brenda Wootton's family were sorted and digitised. One of the recordings, a previously unreleased live performance of four songs by Crowdy Crawn (including 'the Ringers of Egloshayle) was made into a video.

As well as being a singer in her own right, Brenda Wootton ran Pipers Folk Club in West Cornwall. During the sixties and seventies 100s of performers appeared there, including Donovan, Ralph McTell, Mike Chapman and Clive Palmer.

Part of the 'Folk in Cornwall' research project. Special thanks to Sue Ellery.
