Pengersec

Lord Pengersec is a character from Cornish folklore. He is described by Bottrell (1870) as an 'enchanter' whose skills in the magic arts had been learnt in the East. 'Pengersec with equal ease could raise the devil or the dead'...'His fiery steed seems to tread the air and spurn the ground'

Visual representations of him are virtually non-existent. Here he is represented, in a work for the www, as a shape-shifting .gif
